Dyslexia is a special disorder of learning to read. According to Dr. Éva Marton there may be 11 different reasons in the background ofthe development of dyslexia and in most of thecases the coexistence of more than one of these causesmay be observed. (Dr. Marton - Dévényi: Our experiences and edification in Basic Therapy, Basic Therapy Foundation, 2000). According to the authors, the disorders triggering dyslexia can be classified into two major categories:

      - "vision disorders"
      - other neurological dysfunctions

Occurence of these two disorders are about the same frequency. Dyslexia affects 10-12% of the children. (Developer Pedagogy, Pedagogical learned journal; Special Edition on Dyslexia, 1999).
